Yoga guru, Baba Ramdev on Friday said that he was not involved in any issue related to black money and that the Bharatiya Janata Party Alwar candidate, Mahent Chandnath had generally told him about the increasing number of cases of black money in the country, and added that the controversy stirred by the incident was a desperate attempt of the Congress.

"If me or any worker of mine is associated with Black money or is caught in any such thing, the person should be investigated. But without any evidence you cannot accuse a person of any crime," said Ramdev. "Chandnath had just told me that a lot of black money was getting caught nowadays, and I told him not to bring up such topics during the press conference. This is a desperate attempt of the Congress to win".

"I would also like to ask a simple question. Which person would talk about black money in front of the media? He was talking generally about the news coming in the papers everyday. He said that people are getting caught everyday and I told him that if such things were happening, let them happen and not to get involved. Now, people are saying things like this are just the trailer and there is a lot more to come," he added.

He alleged that Congress President Sonia Gandhi had more than 50 lakh crores of black money abroad. "The Congress people themselves have so much black money in their pockets. Sonia Gandhi has more than 50 lakh crores of black money outside the country and they are accusing me," said Ramdev. "The Congress knows that they are going to lose badly and therefore they are trying hard to stir some kind of controversy for the BJP and that's why they are saying such things."

Yesterday, Ramdev was caught on camera murmuring to the BJP Alwar candidate, Mahent Chandnath not to talk to him about money in front of the media. "Are you a fool asking and talking about money when cameras and microphones are on?" he asked.

Even before Ramdev's press conference was about to start, Chandnath was heard telling him that he was facing a lot of difficulties in bringing the money there, to which the former had replied, "Stop talking here about money, are you a fool?"
