KARNAL: In a jolt to the Congress ahead of next year's Assembly polls in Punjab, daughter of former Haryana chief minister Bansi Lal and state general secretary Sumitra Singh has joined Nationalist Congress Party (NCP).
Sumitra joined Sharad Pawar-led party at its National Convention held in Dehra Dun.
