Reiterating his 'Suit-boot ki Sarkar' jibe, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Saturday dubbed Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a 'feku'.
"Prime Minister Modi promised two lakh jobs, promised Rs.15 lakh to each account and to reduce high prices. Did it happen? 'Feku tha, hai' (He was a braggart and will remain one)." said Rahul Gandhi while addressing a rally here.
Gandhi reiterated his 'Suit-Boot' remark, 'A lot is revealed by what clothes one wears' "I had mentioned in Parliament about a 'Suit Boot' government not being a government for poor. If you look around you wouldn't find anyone wearing a suit or boot, People here are wearing torn clothes or kurtas ," he added. He said, "The BJP doesn't want to mingle with poor people. They want to keep their suits clean."
Gandhi again took a jibe at PM Modi, "Started off as a tea seller, Modiji's clothes started getting better. From kurtas he moved onto Rs 15 lakh suits."
He said the Centre's pro-rich policies will take away lands from the poor, "The price of your land will go up. PM Modi and his suit-boot friends want to take it away in the name of development."
He brought out the recent scams the BJP government in state and Centre has been involved in. "There was a PDS scam in Chhattisgarh where Rs 1000 crore was looted while the governmnet in Madhya Pradesh saw a Vyapam scam."
Continuing his slogan war, Gandhi said, "The PM says, 'na khaunga na khaane dunga' while Sushma Swaraj was rescuing Lalit Modi."
He promised that the Congress will bring jobs in the state, "If our government is formed here, we will create employment opportunities in Bihar."
