During an election campaign for the upcoming assembly election in Bihar at Warisaliganj, Navada on Tuesday, Nitish Kumar was shown black flags with a bunch of people shouting Modi slogans. The demonstrators went on to throw shoes at the stage.
The said group of people allegedly indulged in violence with JD(U) party workers at the rally, post which Bihar police arrested about 25 people for causing inconvenience and indulging in violence, reported Jagran.
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was in Warisaliganj campaigning for JD(U) MLA Pradeep Kumar when the incident took place.
Addressing the rally, Nitish said, "I know who you people are. You are also very less in numbers. The better course for you to leave this place."
After the incident, Nitish also asked the crowd if they want their chief minister to speak. Things were in control later on and Nitish delivered his speech, reported Dainik Bhaskar.
