BJP innovates ways to script Lok Sabha poll win

In the run up to the 2019 elections, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), the youth wing of the BJP, will start an interview series of eminent leaders and noted personalities from next week which will focus on how India has "transformed" in the four and half years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's rule.

In the interview series titled 'NaMo Yuva connect', the BJP youth-wing workers and youth volunteers will take one One-on-one interview of top BJP leaders, ministers, chief ministers of BJP ruled states, business tycoons, movie stars, artists, writers and sports personalities, sources in the BJYM said.

During the BJYM interview series, eminent leaders and noted personalities from various fields will tell their side of the story about what exactly the country has achieved in the last four and half years, sources said.

BJYM sources informed that all interviews would be "candid" and the content will be "youthful" and will have a "direct connect" with youth of the country.

To add muscle to BJP's masterplan to ensure a win in 2019 general election, the BJYM has lined up a series of outreach programmes to connect to youth, first-time voters and millennials with the slogan 'Lakshya humara, Modi dobara' (Our aim, Modi again). The BJP youth wing is already running 17 such programmes.

The BJYM has also launched a massive drive to connect with the first-time voters by asking them why they should give the first vote of their life to Prime Minister Modi. For the 2019 general elections, the BJP is targeting the youth, the first-time voters and millennial voters in a big way. According to an estimation, there are over 15 crore first-time voters in this general election.

Action Plan

BJYM national presi-dent Poonam Mahajan had kicked off the Vijay Lakshya 2019 campaign last month via video conference by addressing as many 50 lakh youth volunteers – based out of 200 locations of the country – from the mountain town of Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh.
