BJP leader Prem Kumar becomes leader of Opposition in Bihar assembly

Bharatiya Janata Party's Prem Kumar has become the new Leader of Opposition in the Bihar Assembly.

The Winter Session of Bihar Assembly is beginning from tomorrow to facilitate the newly-elected MLAs who would take oath on November 30 and December 1 respectively.

Senior Congress MLA Sadanand Singh on Sunday took oath as the Pro-tem Speaker of the Bihar Assembly. Governor Ram Nath Kovind administered the oath to Singh at a function at the Raj Bhawan here. 

The Winter Session of Bihar Assembly is beginning from tomorrow to facilitate the newly-elected MLAs who would take oath on November 30 and December 1 respectively.

The Speaker will be elected on December 2. The Governor will address the joint session of the two Houses of the state legislature the following day. The Winter Session will be up to December 8.
