The BJP is not leaving out any medium to attack the Manik Sarkar-led CPM government in Tripura that often is described as a people-friendly government run by a simple chief minister.

Firing fresh salvo from its arsenal, the BJP leaders led by national general secretary Ram Madhav released a book titled "Manic Sarkar – Real and the Virtual" at Delhi's Constitution Club.

The book originally written in Marathi has been translated in Hindi and English for wider appeal.

Releasing the book, Madhav said, "It will help remove misconceptions about Manik Sarkar government by bringing out the facts in public domain."

Hitting out at the popular people's friendly image of Manik Sarkar government, Madhav said the perception is a smoke screen.

BJP's Tripura in-charge, Sunil Devdhar said the image of a honest leader that Manik Sarkar has made is a virtual reality like the Drishyam film and the book will bust this myth.

He claimed that the situation of women was grave in Tripura as they are not safe and the police have been ordered not to file FIR on crimes perpetrated against them.
