Andhra Pradesh unit of BJP has constituted four teams to assess the damage caused in the cyclone-hit coastal districts and to see the rehabilitation work undertaken by the state government.
The teams would visit the affected areas for two days and submit a report which would be forwarded to the government for necessary action, state BJP general secretary N Ramachander Rao told PTI.
One of the teams, led by senior leader M Venkaiah Naidu, who will be accompanied by state BJP president G Kishan Reddy, today left for Nellore and Prakasam districts, he said.
The other teams will visit West Godavari, Guntur and Krishna districts, Rao said.
