The BJP has decided to expose "tainted Congress-led government" in Goa through a booklet which compiles answers tabled in the Legislative Assembly.
The party has announced a formal function on March 4 in Panaji, where BJP's deputy leader in the Parliament, Gopinath Munde, will unveil the booklet titled `Tainted Government'.
Giving this information, BJP Goa unit chief Laxmikant Parsekar also alleged that live broadcast of the recent session of the assembly proceedings on local cable channels was disrupted by Congress sympathisers by snapping the cables.
"Their sole aim was to stop the government being exposed on the floor of the house," he alleged.
"Hence, we have decided to reach out to almost one lakh households through these booklets, which disseminate the information given by the state government."
Parsekar said that the information provided by government on issues like drug mafia, casino licences, temple and church thefts, garbage treatment scandal, Public Distribution System (PDS) etc was quite revealing.
"There are scams exposed at all levels... and we want the people to judge for themselves this tainted government," the BJP leader said. The booklet will also kick off BJP's campaign for the assembly elections, likely to be held within a year, he said.
