The LoP blamed Pakistan for spreading hatred in the country over issue of North-East. He appealed people of North-East to soon return their place of study and work. He further said the BJP will take up the scam of Rs1.86 crore in allocation of coal blocks in Parliament in a big way. “It is larger than the 2G spectrum issue.” Blaming Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for corruption, Jaitely said, “In 2G case prime minister as the head of the government was morally and vicariously liable, but in this case for the five out of eight years he himself was the coal minister, so he is directly liable.”

Jaitely, who flew down to the city on Sunday evening, attended meetings with senior BJP leaders in the state to chalk out poll strategy of the upcoming assembly polls in the state. Sunday late evening, he attended the meeting of BJP leaders for publicity and campaign strategy for polls.
