One person suffered injuries in an explosion in a dustbin in Nalgonda district of Andhra Pradesh today, police said.
The incident occurred in Huzur Nagar town between 9 and 9.30am when some explosive material burst in the dustbin, they said.
"A pedestrian who was passing by the spot suffered injuries. It seems some country-made explosive material was dropped in the dustbin," a police officer investigating the case told PTI over phone.
"We have registered a case under the Explosive Act and verifying who might have dropped the explosive material in the dustbin," the officer added.
