Blast in Delhi Latest News: An  low-intensity explosion was reported near the Isareli embassy, which is located on Aurangzeb Road in Delhi, on Friday evening (January 29). The windscreens of several cars were damaged in the blast. The nature and cause of the explosion is yet to be ascertained.

Officials from the fire department have reached the site as well as intelligence department personnel. No casualties have been reported in the explosion, so far.

It is pertinent to mention that the blast site is only a few kilometres away from the high-security Rajpath, where the Beating Retreat Ceremony is taking place. 

The Delhi Police said, "A very low-intensity improvised device went off at 5.05 pm near APJ Abdul Kalam Road near Jindal House. No injury reported, nor any damage to property was witnessed except to the window panes of three vehicles. Initial impressions suggest that it was mischievous attempt to create sensation."

"We received a call at around 5:45 pm regarding blast after which we reached the spot. No injuries have been reported in the incident," Fire Officer Prem Lal said.
