A private luxury bus carrying a groom and his relatives overturned in Chandkheda on Sunday morning. Luckily, no passenger in the bus was injured seriously. However, the groom had to rush in another vehicle to reach his marriage venue.

Mohammad Abdul Razzaq Taily, along with more than 50 of his relatives and friends, was on his way to Ahmedabad from his native village of Motibeda in Pali district of Rajasthan. They were traveling in a bus number RJ-24-P-1483. When their bus reached Chandkheda at 4:30 am on Sunday, the bus ran into a ditch dug on the main road for making of BRTS route. The driver lost control and the bus overturned at a low speed.

The passengers came out by breaking the glass windows. Luckily, no passenger received serious injuries. However, everyone was worried about the groom Taily, who was supposed to reach a mass wedding organised by his community at Veer Bhagat Singh hall near Usha Cinema road in Gomtipur. Wasting no time for first aid, the relatives immediately arranged for a vehicle and sent the groom to the wedding.
