Carcass of male rhino found in Kaziranga
The rhino had fallen into a mud poll and was unable to come out of it due to old age, they said adding the carcass was found in the Kohora range of the park.
A carcass of a male rhino was found in Assam's Kaziranga National Park today, its officials said.The rhino had fallen into a mud poll and was unable to come out of it due to old age, they said adding the carcass was found in the Kohora range of the park.The horn of the rhino was intact, they said.Altogether 19 animals, including nine rhinos, have died in Kaziranga National Park since January this year due to both poaching and natural causes.
