CBSE Class 12 Board Examination 2019: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the time table of class 12 board and class 10 board examinations. The board has released an official circular on the official website.
The Class 12 Board exams will begin from 15 February to 3 April and Class 10 board examination will begin from 21 February till 29 March 2018. The dates have been decided keeping in mind that the dates do not clash with dates of competitive examinations. However, last year the Board had to reschedule the Class 12 Physics exam as the date clashed with JEE Main exam dates.
The exams will be held from 10.30 am to 1.30 am but the answer books will be given to the students at 10 am. Students are required to fill in their particulars on the answer sheets till 10.15 and the question papers will be distributed at 10.15 am.
However, the board will conduct the examinations for vocational subjects will be held earlier keeping in mind the order of the Delhi High Court. CBSE offers 40 vocational subjects in Class 12 and 15 in Class 10. The order said, that Delhi University should fix the cut-off dates for admission to undergraduate courses only after CBSE result are declared including result for re-evaluation.
CBSE offers 240 subjects, out of which, this year students have opted for 30,000 combinations of subjects in both the classes. Exams for core academic subjects will begin in March.
"While preparing the date sheet, the admission schedule of Delhi University has also been considered," said Dr Sanyam Bhardwaj, Controller of Examinations.
