Two weeks after the gruesome act of poisoning his own friends, Chandkheda police have finally nabbed the main accused Kamal Kishore aka Raju Yadav. On Thursday, Yadav, 27, a resident of Shiv-Shakti Dham in Motera, was caught near Visat circle by police.

According to KP Rathod, in charge police inspector of Chandkheda, Yadav was angry with three friends as they did not share information regarding his sister's affair. "Yadav's sister had an affair with a boy called Gaurang, which resulted in marriage. Yadav, who was unaware of this development, was furious at his friends for not informing him in advance about it. From that point, he wanted to take revenge," said Rathod.

Primary investigation by police revealed that Yadav procured the poison from his native place in Kasganj of Gorakhpur district, Uttar Pradesh. After coming back, he arranged a late night party near Auda garden in Motera on January 23, and invited three of his friends - Manish Rathod, Pankaj Upadhyay and Mangal Prajapati.
After offering liquor to them, Yadav went to buy dabelis and returned after one hour with the poisoned dabelis. After eating the dabelis the trio started vomiting and fell unconscious. Mangal died instantly, while Pankaj and Manish were saved by doctors.

"After the incident, Yadav fled from the spot, and has been hiding in places like Vadodara, Rajkot and UP. When he came back, we captured him near Visat petrol pump on Thursday" said Rathod.
