At the Tamil Nadu Global Investors’ Meet in Chennai one of the exciting initiatives signed on is a new amusement park for the city.
Wonderla Holidays has signed an MoU with the state government to build a Rs.300 crore amusement park over the next three years. They already have amusements parks in Bengaluru and Kochi.
The managing director of Wonderla Holidays, Arun K Chittilappily, called the Chennai was a ‘promising market’ and said that they were looking at building the largest Wonderla here.
Though Chennai currently has five amusement parks this will be a good addition to the city’s entertainment space. Like the others, Wonderla will also come up in outskirts of Chennai.
