Students who are awaiting the results for their ISC Class 12 2016 examinations can finally relax as the results are scheduled to be declared today.
The results for Council for the Indian School Certification Examination (CISCE) for Class XII is scheduled to be announced today at 3 pm.
Last year, in 2015, a total of 71,141 candidates had appeared for the ISC Class 12th examinations. The candidates included at least 38,659 boys and 32,482 girls in total.
Out of the male candidates in 2015, 36,830 boys passed the ISC exam and from the total number of female candidates 31,666 successfully cleared their examination.
The pass percentage was for ISC was 96.38%. It was also noted that the girls performed better than the boys in the examinations.
About ISC (Class XII):
The Indian School Certificate Examination is an examination, through the medium of English, designed in accordance with the recommendations of the New Education Policy 1986, after a two-year course of studies beyond the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (Year 10) examination or its equivalent examination.
The ISC has decided to announce the results two weeks earlier than usual date.
The Live Ink Character Recognition (LICR) developed by Orion India Systems Pvt Ltd. has helped the Council staff of ICSE to declare the results so soon.
ICSE happens to be the first Examination Board in the world to have introduced this system.
Steps to access your results:
1) Log in to CAREERS portal of the Council website.
2) Use the ID and password provided to your school principal
2) Under the 'Examination System' tab, click on ICSE 2016 for your examination results.
3) Click on 'Reports'
4) Click on 'Result Tabulation' to view the school's result tabulation
5) Check 'Comparison Table' to View/Print the same.
