GHAZIABAD: Krishna, an accused in the Noida double murder case, was on Saturday remanded by a court here to CBI custody for three days to facilitate his interrogation.

The accused, working as compounder with Dr Rajesh Talwar arrested by the Noida police for the murder of his daughter Aarushi and domestic help, was placed under arrest by the CBI on Friday after a series of scientific test.

Presenting him before the Additional Civil Judge Deep Kant Mani, CBI Counsel R K Saini contended that Krishna's custodial interrogation was necessary for ensuring some more arrests.

However, the judge remanded him to only two days of the investigating agency so that the accused could be produced before the designated CBI court of Sapna Mishra on June 17 evening.

While pleading for a 14 days CBI custody of Krishna, Saini said the agency was yet to recover the weapon used in the gruesome double murder of teenager Aarushi and her domestic help Hemraj.

The mobile phone of Aarushi, Hemraj and some blood soaked clothes were also yet to be recovered, the CBI counsel said in his plea before the court while seeking his custody.

Krishna was arrested in connection with the case under which Talwar is in judicial custody. The case has been registered under Section 302 (murder) and section 201 (destruction of evidence).

Krishna's lawyer F C Sharma, opposing the CBI's plea, contended that his client had been in CBI's illegal detention since June three and all the tests including Narco analysis, brain mapping and lie detector tests were conducted without his consent.

The CBI had arrested Krishna on the basis of reports of polygraph test and narco-analysis test conducted on the dental clinic compounder at Forensic Sciences Laboratory in Bangalore June 12.

Krishna was earlier subjected to polygraph twice at CFSL, Delhi. He was also subjected to psychological assessment test at AIIMS.

"Based on the scientific tests' results, CBI arrested Krishna yesterday. Further investigation is continuing," CBI's Joint Director Arun Kumar had said on Friday.
