Reminding that it will not be possible to form government without NCP's support, the NCP leader demanded that even smallest of party workers should be respected.

Union civil aviation minister and senior NCP leader Praful Patel today said that Congress should not take their support in Goa for granted.

"We support Congress-led government in the state, but Congress should also respect our legislators," Patel said addressing party's massive convention in south Goa.

NCP supremo Sharad Pawar chaired the convention, which had party's national and state leaders participating in it.

Reminding that it will not be possible to form government without NCP's support, the NCP leader demanded that even smallest of party workers should be respected.

"We are taken sometimes for granted, we know how Congress is troubled with infightings. We are not part for the fightings as we want to be party to a performing government," he said.

"But don't treat us like small boy who you can play with. Don't go by NCP strength," Patel said. NCP is supporting Congress-led government in the state with three of its legislators.
