The AJSU has five legislators.

The Congress has 14 seats and its prepoll alliance partner Jharkhand Vikash Morcha (Prajatantrik), 11 in the 81-member house.

Another former UPA ally, RJD, has five legislators. The RJD had a prepoll alliance with the LJP, CPI, CPI(M) and MCC.

If Congress is able to rope in RJD and AJSU it will have 30 seats. There are also smaller parties which have a dozen seats between themselves.
