The fourth national management convention on 'Global Meltdown and the Roadmap Ahead' will be held in Bharuch district from February 5 with nearly 600 delegates, and representatives from 100 corporate houses scheduled to participate in the two-day event.
"This Convention aims to present an insight with preparing ourselves for future shocks and there by competitive global pressure and hence the theme 'global meltdown and the road map ahead'," Coordinator Guruprasad Mohapatra said.
"Bharuch is a vibrant industrial zone of the country and investments worth Rs 50,000 crores is taking place in this
region on account of the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor
(DMIC) project," he said.
Also, the two day deliberations will focus on several topics like global meltdown- genesis and impact, India & China the torch bearers, the road map ahead- imperatives for sustainable development, Indian innovation, Indian corporate sector-success stories and panel discussions on insulating Indian industries against future shocks.
"Recent times have witnessed tremendous economic crisis and the cause and effect have been analysed by many. But lessons must be learnt and insulating oneself from effects from similar conditions in future is the task of management and financial wizards and hence this convention," Mohapatra said.
Noted industrialists and dignitaries including planning commission member Arun Maira, prime minister's IT advisor Sam Pitroda, IIM Director S K Barua are expected to participate in the convention.
Experts from Reliance L&T, Adani, Torrent, Godrej, GNFC and GACL are also likely to attend the meet.
