Conversions should stop, says RSS General Secretary Bhaiyyaji Joshi

Religious conversions should be stopped as it is creating many problems in the country, General Secretary of RSS Bhaiyyaji Joshi said in Haridwar on Sunday.

"We want people to follow their own religion with dedication. Religious conversion is not good," Joshi said, however, adding, "ghar vapasi" if one does it out of free will, should be "welcomed."

On the Indo-Pak relations he said," In the present circumstances we should to talk to Pakistan on our own terms only."

The RSS leader was here for the yearly programme of Devya Prem Seva Mission in the nearby village Bhogpur Tallah.

Joshi said that Pakistan should think that when it too is facing terrorism, it should cooperate with its full strength in combating global terrorism.

Union Minister Santosh Gangwar, yoga guru Ramdev, and others were also present on the occasion.
