Anandnagar police are confident of cracking the case.

A day after Ajay Tomar, JCP sector-I, formed a special team to trace 11-year-old girl Vishwa Patel who went missing from a wedding, Anandnagar police are confident of cracking the case.

"We are onto something and there will be some development in the case very soon," said MS Sindha, senior police inspector of Anandnagar police station.

Meanwhile, the parents of the missing child have petitioned the state human rights commission in the matter.

The parents, with the help of a human rights activist Sanjay Joshi, petitioned the commission on Tuesday. The commission has taken serious note of the matter and has also issued a notice to the police commissioner.

Vishwa had gone missing after she went to attend a marriage function in the common plot of the building where she lived. She was last seen with two of her friends.

Earlier, Tomar had formed a team to look for the girl. The Anti Human Trafficking Cell was also asked to lend a helping hand to the police in this connection.

The parents had also petitioned the DGP in this connection and were assured of all help in the matter.
