Ratan Tata, former Chairman of Tata Sons has been hospitalised in Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital. Ratan Tata, the Chairman Emeritus of Tata Sons, has responded to reports of his being hospitalised at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital. The Tata group veteran has said in X post " I am aware of recent rumors circulating regarding my health and want to assure everyone that these claims are unfounded. I am currently undergoing medical check-ups due to my age and related medical conditions."

Ratan Tata took over as chairman of Tata group in March 1991 and retired in 2012. According to the Tata group, “From torchbearer to transformer, Chairman Emeritus Ratan Tata has played shepherd and sentinel while guiding the Tata group into a new age, and he has done it in his own distinctive style.
