Senior ministers are expected to participate in the programme, which begins on April 22, on integral humanism lectures delivered by Upadhyay in 1965.

In a bid to familiarise the English-speaking to BJP ideologue Deen Dayal Upadhyay and his philosophy of integral humanism, events are being held on four consecutive evenings in the heart of the Capital.

The venue for the function—the India International Centre, Delhi's intellectual hub—has also been carefully chosen. Senior ministers are expected to participate in the programme, which begins on April 22, on integral humanism lectures delivered by Upadhyay in 1965.

"A large section, which is outside the constituency, wants to know about Deendayal and Nanaji Deshmukh. This class is outside our ideology, but we want to approach them," said BJP's Rajya Sabha Prabhat Jha.

The programme, being organised by the Deen Dayal Research Institute (DRI), set up by Deshmukh, also includes a film on the ideologue' s life and recitations. His lectures have been originally written in Hindi. It was on April 22 to 25, in 1965 that Upadhyay gave the four lectures in Mumbai on integral humanism.

The BJP has laid out plans for its members, including ministers, to mark his centenary.
