According to her post on X, despite relentless efforts, the Haryana government has not released Delhi's full water quota.Prior to starting her protest, Atishi paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat at 11 am, emphasizing the 'Satyagraha' approach to fight injustice.

'I will start 'Pani Satyagraha' from today... until Delhi receives its rightful share of water from Haryana,' she declared on X.

Atishi previously asserted that for the past two weeks, Haryana has supplied 100 million gallons daily less than Delhi's share of 613 MGD, impacting 28 lakh residents.

Delhi is grappling with an unprecedented heatwave, exacerbating water demand.
