Delhi blast: Manmohan Singh drives straight to hospital on his return from Dhaka

Singh visited the Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital to meet those who were injured in the blast.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh tonight drove straight on his return from Dhaka to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital here to visit those injured in the bomb blast outside Delhi High Court.

Singh, who arrived here after his two-day Bangladesh visit, met the injured and enquired about their condition from doctors.

Around 50 out of 66 injured are admitted at the RML hospital.

Singh stayed at the RML hospital for nearly half-an-hour during which he was briefed by Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad.

The prime minister wished speedy recovery to all those injured in the blast.
