Delhi police arrested a murder accused from Kamrej near Surat on Monday morning. The accused had murdered two persons in a factory at Delhi a year back and was declared wanted since then. His location was tracked with the help of his cell phone following which he was nabbed. According to police, the accused, Sunil Rajput used to work at India Silk Garments in Gandhinagar at Delhi. A year back, he and his friend Kanta Prasad had assaulted two other employees of the company, Anil Tiwari and Deepak Bengali, and killed them within the company premises. The duo then fled with the victims’ belongings.  Meanwhile, during investigation Delhi police came across the CCTV camera footage of the murder. The accused were identified following which hunt for them started. But by then, the accused had disappeared. All this while, efforts to track them continued. Recently, the cops managed to track Rajput’s cell phone location and found him hiding at Tathithaiya near Kamrej in Surat. Based on the details, police raided Saiba Textiles on Monday morning and arrested Rajput. Delhi police produced Rajput at a local court in Kathor on Monday and demanded his custody under transition warrant. The court is yet to take decision on the plea.
