Delhi: One dead, two injured after three-storied building collapses in Badli

One person was killed and two seriously injured after a portion of a three-storeyed building collapsed early in the morning today at the Badli region in northwest Delhi.
The deceased has been identified as Poonam (19), while the two who sustained serious injuries were her relatives.
The injured persons were rushed to Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital at Rohini and Babu Jagjivan Ram Memorial Hospital at Jahangirpuri, respectively, where they now are now receiving medical care.
Sources added there were two shops on the first floor of the building that collapsed, while the second floor housed a family. According to reports, the portion of the house which collapsed was unauthorised and had further weakened due to the seasonal monsoons.
