United States President Donald Trump's eldest son Donald Trump Jr, who arrived here on Tuesday morning, described India as a better business destination than China and praised the reforms undertaken by the Modi government.

During the week-long trip, Trump Jr will also promote his luxurious residential project, Trump Towers.

In an interaction, he said India is "substantially above board" for business when compared to China. Maintaining that reforms underway will help attract investments to India from countries like US, he said the "spirit" of doing business in India is much more aligned with the US way of doing business. "As a businessman, I feel things here are substantially more above board," he said, adding, "I think the mentality of the people is the same. There is probably little bit more honesty."
