The prestigious Doon School today reported three more cases of swine flu, taking the total number of students affected by the deadly virus in the institution to 13.
Nodal officer for Swine Flu Pankaj Jain said 10 more samples of swab taken from students and staff members of the school were sent to NICD New Delhi, which confirmed three cases as positive yesterday.
Meanwhile, classes remained suspended with the management deciding to resume them on September 22.
When contacted, a spokesman of the school said doctors are continuously monitoring the situation in the school where most of the boys have now left for their homes.
With the situation turning grim, Uttarakhand health department has advised all schools in the hill state like Welham, Sherwood and Woodstock to keep a close watch on their students.
