NEW DELHI: The Election Commission on Monday ordered four more appointments to senior administrative and police posts with a view to conduct free and fair elections to the state assembly in December.
MV Joshi has been appointed the collector of Valsad. Wabang Zamir has been appointed the superintendent of police (SP) of Patan, Archana Shivhare as the SP for Rajkot (Rural) and Amit Vishwakarma as the SP of Vadodara (Rural).
The poll panel has also ordered that SP (Surat Rural) KG Bhati will also function as SP (Tapi).
