HYDERABAD: A die-hard fan of actor Chiranjeevi, 24-year-old Parthasarathi from Tegudem village in Khammam district committed suicide on Sunday morning in a bid to force the actor to announce his entry into politics.
In his suicide note found near his bed, Parthasarathi, a home guard in Bhadrachalam, said the star’s political future has been stalled by many political forces. An ardent fan of Chiranjeevi, he had not missed even a single movie of his, and visited Hyderabad for all the birthday bashes of the actor. Nagababu, Chiranjeevi’s brother announced an ex-gratia for the family of Parthasarathi.
Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi’s political future is still under cloud with the actor dilly-dallying. His fans had recently attacked another Telegu actor Rajasekhar for making unsavoury remarks on the capability of Chiranjeevi to lead a political party.
Meanwhile, another rumour doing rounds is that Congress leaders helped Chiranjeevi’s second daughter Srija escape to Delhi and get married.
