Five persons were killed and three others injured after thunderstorm struck them in famous pilgrim town of Mathura today.
Three persons died after being hit by thunderstorm and many others were injured in Bhadokar village which falls under Barsana police station of the district, official sources said.
The deceased were sitting in their hut when thunderstorm struck them, sub divisional magistrate (SDM) Rakesh Malpani said.
In an another incident two persons and over 40 sheeps were killed after being hit by thunderstorm in village Pandal under Goverdhan police station of the district.
