Four persons, including former vice-chancellor of Kashi Vidyapeeth, were injured by
unidentified persons during armed dacoity, police said here today.
    
Former vice-chancellor of Kashi Vidyapeeth Bhaskar Dev Mishra, his son and daughter-in-law were brutally beaten with sticks and rods by armed persons during robbery in teacher's colony late last night, they said, adding the robbers also injured a constable Ram Khelawan.
    
The injured were taken to district hospital where condition of Mishra's son and daughter-in-law was stated to be serious.
