Team Anna member Arvind Kejriwal today claimed that he has been informed of threats against him and that his office may be attacked.
Kejriwal said in the past two days, he received a number of calls from his "friends in media", including a top journalist with a TV news channel, that he may be attacked.
However, he said, he himself has not received any threatening calls or messages.
Another Team Anna member and lawyer Prashant Bhushan was attacked last week in his office for his advocacy of plebiscite in Jammu and Kashmir.
Though it was claimed that Bhushan's controversial remarks on Kashmir were the provocation for the assault, Team Anna saw a "conspiracy" behind the incident.
Claiming that it was an attempt to divert attention from the issue of corruption, Kejriwal had questioned police actions, alleging that the cops did not act swiftly against the attackers and wondered whether there were "instructions from the top" to do so.
"We don't think it is the Kashmir remarks which have provoked the attacks. It appears that all the corrupt people have got together. It was an attempt to divert attention from the issue of corruption. We feel there is a conspiracy," Kejriwal had said on Friday.
