Tej Pratap is set to tie the knot soon.

Tej Pratap Yadav, the elder son of former Bihar chief ministers Lalu Prasad and Rabri Devi, is all set to exchange rings with Aishwarya Rai, the granddaughter of ex-Bihar CM Daroga Rai and daughter of senior RJD leader and MLA Chandrika Rai later this month.

An RJD source said an engagement ceremony is set to take place on April 18 at a city hotel, and the wedding is likely next month. A source said Lalu, who is serving a sentence in the fodder scam and is currently in Delhi for medical treatment, could attend the ceremony if the court permits.

If latest media reports are to be believed, Tej Pratap will marry Aishwarya Rai, the granddaughter of Bihar’s former Chief Minister Daroga Prasad Rai.

1) Tej was Bihar minister of health, minor water resources, environment and forests from November 2015 till July 2017.

2) He contested the 2015 Bihar Assembly elections in 2015 and become a first-time MLA.

3) Tej has been elected to the Bihar Legislative Assembly from the Mahua constituency.

4) After Lalu's security was downgraded from Z+ to Z, he had notoriously threatened to skin Prime Minister Narendra Modi alive.

5) He was called Kanhaiya by PM Modi because he likes to dress up as Lord Krishna.  Aap toh Kishan Kanhaiya ho gaye hain (you are becoming a likeness of Krishna).” The PM was referring to pictures of Tej Pratap Yadav which had gone viral, in which he was dressed as Lord Krishna.

6) Tej is said to own a petrol pump in Patna whose licence was terminated as wrong information was allegedly provided about his land ownership in 2012.

7) He left his official residence claiming Nitish Kumar and PM Modi ‘had released ghosts in the bungalow’.
