Ending months of controversy over the Right to Information (RTI) Act, the chief justice of India and 21 justices of the Supreme Court of India, including one who has recently retired, disclosed their assets on the court's website on Monday.

The raging row, which even saw the Supreme Court file a petition in the Delhi high court, were triggered by applications under the RTI Act seeking transparency in the declaration of assets of members of the higher judiciary.
