Delhi Police and Gurugram traffic police have released a detailed traffic advisory ahead of the G20 Summit in Delhi, informing about the restrictions on vehicular movement. According to the official statement, vehicular movement will be restricted on National Highway-48 from midnight on September 7 until midnight on September 10.

The advisory also urged people to use the metro for transportation during the two days of the G20 Summit (September 9–10) because bus access to Lutyens' Delhi, where the summit's venues are located, will be limited.

The restriction order will go into effect at midnight on September 7 and remain in place through September 10 at midnight. "There will be no effect on ambulance movement or essential services. However, there will be restrictions on plying of city buses in the New Delhi area. But there will be no restrictions on Delhi Metro. People are advised to use the Metro for commuting to their destination," he said.
