Dhaka from Bangladesh, Lagos in Nigeria and Dar-es Salaam  in Tanzania are the latest to join the bandwagon of taking lessons from Ahmedabad urban transport. Sometime in June, delegations from all these countries are expected to be in Ahmedabad to study the Janmarg model.

Moreover, delegation from Danang city in Vietnam is also keen to study the Janmarg BRTS model. They will be visiting the city to participate in a workshop on BRTS organised by the World Bank.  Ahmedabad Janmarg Limited (AJL) officials feel that it is a matter of pride for both Ahmedabad and Gujarat that Janmarg is emerging as a brand across the globe.

Indian cities like Raipur, Pune, Pimpri, Mysore, Bangalore, Chennai, Vijaywada and Indore are some of the cities that have either visited Ahmedabad or are planning to visit the city to get lessons on BRTS.
