The Goa police is awaiting reports from the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on the interrogation of terror suspect David Headley.
Goa police spokesman Atmaram Deshpande said that the police are yet to receive any report from NIA.
"We are waiting for the references from NIA. We have not asked for the interrogation report," Deshpande said.
Headley, an accused in the November 26 Mumbai terror attacks, had visited Goa amongst other places in the country.
Police had revealed that Headley had done recee of Chabad house at Anjuna and other points vital from the terror angle.
Police sources also said that the Centre had asked Goa to verify whether Headley had visited the state.
Headley, a Pakistani-American, was arrested by the FBI in September, 2009. He has pleaded guilty to planning terror attacks, including 26/11 which saw ten Pakistani terrorists ravaging Mumbai for 72 hours.
The NIA met Headley recently in USA.
