The government as well as the ruling Congress are trying to forge a consensus on the Lokpal bill and it will be presented in parliament in the winter session, a party leader said Monday. “There should be a stringent law for Lokpal in the country. The government and Congress party is trying to build a consensus on the Lokpal by consulting its allies and parties in opposition,” Ashwini Kumar Singh told reporters here.   “I am sure that the bill will be tabled in parliament,” he added. Minister Farooq Abdullah said parliament should adopt caution while making the Lokpal bill so that a super government to the government is not formed. He, however, expressed hope that the bill would be presented in parliament soon.
