Great news: Noida Metro's Aqua and Delhi Metro's Blue Line connected by walkway

A 300-metre walkway has been inaugurated by Union Housing and Urban Affairs Secretary DS Mishra

"The walkway built by Noida Metro Rail Corporation will facilitate those traveling to Greater Noida from various parts of Delhi," the DMRC tweeted

The Noida Metro Rail Corporation has been opened a 300-metre footover bridge for the public that will connect the two metro routes- Blue and Aqua lines, on Sunday. 

The walkway is constructed between the Noida Sector 51 metro station on Aqua Line and the Noida Sector 52 metro station on the Delhi Rail Metro Corporation's (DMRC) Blue Line. It was officially inaugurated by Union Housing and Urban Affairs Secretary DS Mishra. 


"The walkway built by Noida Metro Rail Corporation will facilitate those traveling to Greater Noida from various parts of Delhi," the DMRC tweeted.

It was long-pending demand from the commuters and it was finally opened for the public. 

The Secretary also shared the pictures of the new facility on social media. 

The NMRC had also provided free e-rickshaw services for the commuters in this stretch to facilitate connectivity between the two metro rail networks, the DMRC said.
