A special program was organised at Agroha Dham in Hisar on the occasion of Sharad Purnima today, October 31. But the annual fair was cancelled due to COVID-19 and only religious activities like bhajans were organised inside the temple complex. Prayers were also offered to the goddess for the prosperity of the country.
National Executive Chairman of Agroha Development Trust Bajrang Das said that under the leadership of the Dham, social activities will be further enhanced across the country. He said that the Vaishya Samaj is engaged in the service of the nation and it is committed to setting up more units of the Dham. Das further said that the trust intends to build grand Agroha Dhams at all pilgrimage sites in the country.
Referring to the construction works going on in Agroha Dham, Bajrang Das said that a massive auditorium and meditation centre is being built inside the Dham that will be extremely beneficial for the devotees. Apart from this, a website is also being prepared for the marriage of young men and women of the Agrawal community.
Every year on the occasion of Sharad Purnima a grand function is organised at the Dham. Agroha in Hisar, Haryana was the capital of Maharaja Agrasen, who was considered the founder of socialism.
The fair, which is an annual event of the Dham had to be cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic. However other religious activities were performed with all COVID protocols in place.
