Now a video is going viral on social media that shows the Rachakonda Traffic Police personnel in Hyderabad, Telangana teaching commuters standing at Kothapet circle about the precautions.
The clip was shared on Twitter by the official account of Rachakonda Police.
They tweeted it with the caption, "#RachakondaTrafficPolice sensitising commuters on the precautions to be taken to ward off #coronavirus at Kothapet circle."
In the 20-second long video, you can see traffic personnel teaching handwashing techniques to the commuters at the traffic light in the viral clip. From the correct way to cough & sneeze to greet each other with a namaste instead of shaking hands, the video has many important messages for everyone.
The video of the demonstration has since gone viral on social media.
Since being shared, the video has collected over 13,500 likes and more than 2,800 retweets - and counting.
The video received a positive response from the public. The public heaped praise at the Rachakonda Police for the initiative. "Great initiative by the Rachakonda Police department," one person commented. Another person said that it is now the public's turn to support the police and the government.
