IAC activists clash with police outside Hooda's house

Twenty-five people, including four women, were detained during a demonstration by activists of Arvind Kejriwal-led IAC outside Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda's residence.

Twenty-five people, including four women, were detained today during a demonstration by activists of Arvind Kejriwal-led IAC outside Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda's residence here.

The activists of India Against Corruption's Haryana wing clashed with police on Pandit Pant Marg this afternoon when they tried to barge into Hooda's residence protesting against Robert Vadra-DLF issue.

Ten persons -- six protesters and four policemen -- suffered minor injuries in the clash.

A case of rioting has been registered against the protesters.

Police have registered a case under sections 147 (rioting), 148 (rioting with weapons), 149 (unlawful assembly), 186 (obstructing government servant) and 353 (assault) against the demonstrators.
