Additionally, thunderstorms with light to moderate rain, heavy rain in a few locations, and gusty winds of 50 to 70 km/h are expected over and around the neighboring areas of the entire Delhi and NCR (Loni Dehat, Hindon AF Station, Ghaziabad, Indirapuram, Chhapraula).

Due to incoming clouds from northwest Uttar Pradesh, Delhi-NCR is most likely to have strong winds of speed 50–70 kmph and moderate rain with a few isolated severe spells until approximately 09:30 am today. Following this, the gusty winds and rain spell will progressively reduce.

Due to rainfall over Delhi-NCR and surrounding areas, an impact is anticipated and a course of action is recommended:

• Water logging and strong rains that cause traffic delays and slippery roadways.• Temporary loss of visibility.• Obey traffic warnings. • Keep your distance from electric poles and don't touch any exposed wires. • Keep a safe distance from any items that carry electricity. • Refrain from residing in unsafe buildings.• Stay regularly informed on the weather.
