In honour of 76 years of independence, India is commemorating its 77th Independence Day. The Prime Minister will raise the tricolour flag once again from the Red Fort's ramparts in Delhi, as he does every time. Everything has been set up for this.

- PM Modi will next head to the Red Fort's ramparts to hoist the national flag.
- 'Rashtriya Salute' will be given to the Tricolour once it has been hoisted.
- Two Indian Air Force Advanced Light Helicopters Mark-III Dhruv are anticipated to shower the location with flower petals.
- Around 7.30 am, the Prime Minister will address the nation following the dispersion of flower petals.
- After the prime minister's remarks, the national anthem will be played.
- Along with the Defence Secretary and the Commander of the Guard, the PM will depart.
Independence Day 2023: Special Visitors
According to the government, they will be among the 1800 privileged guests from every field of society who have been asked to take part in the Independence Day celebrations at the famous structure on August 15, 2023.
These include teachers, farmers, fisherman, and Sarpanches of Vibrant Villages. In keeping with its goal of "Jan Bhagidari," the authorities have taken steps to encourage individuals from every sphere of culture to participate in the celebrations all throughout India.
