India asserted Saturday it had provided enough evidence to Pakistan to prosecute Jamaat-ud Dawa (JuD) chief Hafiz Saeed, the alleged mastermind of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, and that it was now for Islamabad to proceed against him. The home ministry has also prepared a fresh dossier on the attack, which will be given to Pakistan soon.

Not leaving anything to chance, the ministry has prepared the dossier based on the latest objections raised by Islamabad. “We have formulated a seven-page response with annexures and given it to the external affairs ministry for forwarding it to the Pakistan government,” home minister P Chidambaram said.

In what could be termed as the fourth dossier, the home ministry has responded to certain “routine” questions asked by Pakistan, particularly concerning Saeed.
